Why are Chinese and Korean Pokémon products often less available?

These products are exclusively distributed in their home markets and are only available outside Asia through imports. This results in lower print runs and limited supply. Many sets are therefore sold out quickly and are particularly sought after by collectors who aim for complete international collections.

Are there differences in quality or design compared to English or Japanese cards?

Yes, slightly. Korean and Chinese cards are usually based on the Japanese editions in terms of content, but may have differences in material, gloss, feel, or font. The print quality is nevertheless high, and the cards are original – they differ only in style, not in authenticity.

Are Chinese and Korean Pokémon cards officially licensed or fakes?

Yes, official Pokémon cards are available in Chinese and Korean. Both versions are produced directly by The Pokémon Company for their respective regions and are therefore genuine and licensed. However, when purchasing outside these countries, make sure the goods come from reliable sources – at cardcosmos, you will, of course, only receive verified original products.

When will my order ship – including new releases or pre-orders?
